In-season catches include small mouth and large mouth bass, crappie, bluegill, walleye and catfish. There are 32 camp sites with water and electricity, 40 primitive sites, a restroom/shower building, laundry facilities and dump station. A new playground is located by the sites. Three sites have been adapted for the disabled. Campground is open April-October. Pets are allowed if restrained.

Kentucky's Stonehenge is a bit of ancient society in the small town of Munfordville, KY. It is the creation of Munfordville native, Chester Fryer. After scouring over 1000 acres of nearby Hatcher Valley Chester, relocated nearly every large rock he could find in order to create his masterpiece. All of Chester's rock creations are on display on the grounds of his Munfordville estate. The Battle for the Bridge Historic Preserve is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Preserve is a stop on the Civil War Discovery Trail, the John Hunt Morgan in KY Heritage Trail and the US 31W-31E Heritage Corridor.Two miles of interpretive trail begin at the Anthony Woodson House.  Access to the trail is free and is open from dawn until dusk. More than 200 acres of the battlefield are protected at the Preserve.  From the trail you can see the L&N Railroad Bridge that was a technical marvel of its time.

CLOSED until 2019! August 18 1950, two friends decided to explore Otter Spring in Cub Run. The Spring flowed from the side of a steep hill & cold air rushed out of a tiny opening. The bottom of the opening was loose gravel and rocks, the two began digging. Cub Run Cave and its spectacular sights opened to the public the next year. Cub Run Cave offers a half-mile, 1 ½ hour tour, on an elevated wooden walkway. The cave is very accessible with only a few steps.

Onyx Cave was discovered in 1971 as a parking lot was being constructed for Guntown Mountain Amusement Park. The cave opened for tours in May of 1973. The course houses 2 separate courses that travel across 7 Zip Lines, spanning over 60 acres of rolling-high-ridged hills. A museum dedicated to the 1925 tale of Floyd Collins. Floyd Collins was the first person to explore the Sand Cave and became trapped within the rocks. The rescue attempt was widely publicized. Museum is open by appointment only.
